While addressing facial and oral muscle function, we partner your care with doctors and healthcare providers who are also focused on airway health. Serving the greater Los Angeles area, we offer online and in person appointments.

Buteyko Breathing

Buteyko Breathing Re-education teaches you how to breathe more efficiently and effectively. Combined with treatment by your physician, you may notice improvement in:

Certain types of sleep apnea

Hay fever/allergies

Eustachian tube dysfunction


The Buteyko Breathing Technique helps you breathe light and easy through your nose by training your brain to allow more efficient gas exchange to your body. Exclusive nasal breathing increases the production of nitric oxide and enhances the delivery of oxygen to the body. Nitric oxide is a key player in cardiovascular health. Learn more here.

Sessions are taught once weekly for five weeks. Private lessons are available, either online or in person.

Myofunctional Therapy

Facial and oral neuromuscular training. Paired with treatment from other healthcare professionals, MFT may improve many issues:

Swallowing and chewing


Includes tongue-tie inspection, pre and post frenectomy (tongue-tie release) care, and interdisciplinary solutions.

Myofunctional Therapy is essentially muscle re-training for your mouth and face. You may have been referred to us for therapy if you have a malocclusion (teeth crowding), lisp or tongue thrust (tongue pushing against your teeth), snoring, TMJ issues, or other muscle dysfunction that can lead to many health issues. We will work with you to make sure your muscles are working symmetrically and harmoniously. Think of it like learning to play an instrument. If you practice at home and have a good teacher, you will be successful.

Our habit elimination program involves lots of loving support from your family and your Myofunctional Therapist. Home life should be relatively stress free and stable if you're ready to begin the program. Why is it so important to quit oral habits like thumb and finger sucking, nail biting, blanket chewing and pacifier habits? It's about developing a healthy airway for long term health. It will also help with orthodontic results and stability, and ensure confidence and positive self image throughout life.
